Saturday Music
College is held at the Academy every Saturday morning between
9.00 am and 12.00 pm during term time.
Rehearsals take
place for the following Bands:
Megaband - 9.15 am
until 10.45 am
Senior Jazz Band - 9.00 am until 10.10 am
Senior Woodwind - 11.00 am until 12.00 pm
Senior Brass Band - 11.00 am until 12.00 pm
Individual Music
Tuition is available from 9.00 until 12.00 pm from the following
peripatetic music teachers:
Saxophone - Doug
Bill, Mike Gray and Olivia Wild
Flute - Jenny Bill
Clarinet - Rachel Morton, Liz Williams and Mike Gray
Brass - Malcolm Westbrook, David Maplestone, Glyn Wilkes and James Roberts
Percussion - Lee Hopson and Chris Ruston
Guitar - Tom Gledhill
SMADA also
organise and run the Saturday Music College Refreshments
which also
operates during Saturday Music College.
SMADA have also provided refreshment facilities at various
events that are held at the Academy.
